대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원은 대구광역시청소년활동진흥센터(센터장 조여태)가 ‘2024 청소년포상제 연합 포상식’을 성료했다고 19일 밝혔다.

 

지난 14일 대구광역시 산격청사에서 열린 포상식은 청소년들의 자기주도적 성취를 격려하고 그들의 도전과 노력을 축하하기 위한 자리로 마련됐다.

 

‘청소년포상제’는 봉사, 자기계발, 신체단련, 탐험(진로) 활동 등에서 청소년들이 스스로 목표를 세우고 이를 달성해가는 프로그램이다.

 

이번 행사에서는 국제형 9명과 자기도전형 41명, 총 50명의 청소년이 포상을 받았다.

 

포상식은 경북예술고 실용음악과의 축하 공연으로 시작해 국민의례, 내빈 소개, 활동 사례 발표, 포상 수여식 등으로 진행됐다. 무혼태권도 시범단과 삼성라이온즈 최충연 선수의 축하 퍼포먼스는 행사 열기를 더욱 고조시켰다.

 

배기철 대구행복진흥원 이사장은 “청소년포상제는 청소년들이 스스로 도전하며 성장하는 특별한 기회를 제공한다”며 “이번 포상식이 참여 청소년들에게 성장의 밑거름이 되기를 기대하며, 앞으로도 청소년들이 꿈과 목표를 이룰 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

Bae Ki-cheol, the chairman of the Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency, said, “The Youth Awards System provides a special opportunity for youth to challenge themselves and grow,” adding, “I hope that this awards system will serve as a foundation for growth for the participating youth, and we will continue to spare no support to help youth achieve their dreams and goals.”
